Mr Jimmy Eteuati
completed his medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2000. After working in Samoa for 3 years he returned to Launceston, Tasmania where he completed his Basic Surgical Training at the Launceston General Hospital. Jimmy completed his Advanced Surgical Training at The Alfred Hospital, in Melbourne and was successful in acquiring his fellowship in General Surgery (FRACS) in February 2011.

Dr Jimmy went on to complete the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ) training in Colorectal Surgery with colorectal fellowship years at Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre. He is currently a Consultant surgeon at the Lyell McEwin Health Service.
Specialising in treatment of general colorectal diseases especially colorectal cancer using minimally invasive laparoscopic technique. He treats benign colorectal disease such as diverticular disease and all perianal diseases, such as anal fissures, haemorrhoids, fistula in ano including complex fistulae and anal cancers. An expert colonoscopist accredited by GESA and deals with many patients undergoing the Bowel Cancer Screening Program.
Dr Jimmy in his spare time watches his sons play Rugby and is an avid rugby enthusiast.
